Joseph A. Meeks

Joseph A. Meeks was admitted to the State Bar of California in December, 2011, after he received his Juris Doctorate degree from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles (http://www.lls.edu) where he graduated as a recipient of the Sayre Macneil Scholarship and as a member of the Saint Thomas More Law Honor Society. While in law school, Mr. Meeks served as Judicial Extern to the Hon. Peter H. Carroll of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California, and later, for the Hon. Oswald Parada of the United States District Court, Central District of California.

Mr. Meeks currently serves as a Deputy City Attorney for the cities of Rancho Mirage, California, and Desert Hot Springs, California, as well as Deputy General Counsel for several special districts and non-profit corporations. Mr. Meeks prior experience includes complex class action litigation, and serving as a volunteer attorney providing free legal services to low income and senior citizens of the Coachella Valley, and additionally, as a volunteer attorney for the Los Angeles County Domestic Violence Project providing free legal services to victims of domestic violence.
